Weardale -2 tour is New for 2011
It combines the beauty of the original 1 hour Weardale tour with an extra 10 miles of stunning , off the beaten track, countryside thrown in for good measure.
Starting at our base, the beautiful log cabin cafe of Bradley Burn in Wolsingham, Enjoy a leisurely ride through Weardale and the beautiful market town of Stanhope.
From here we head high over the moors , through Rookhope and Lintzgarth common.
High on the moor look down on Westgate & st Johns Chapel, before riding down past Slit woods and taking the meanderin road which follows the river Wear through the dales..
But we arnt finished yet !
Heading High again were heading towards Teesdale over Bollihope moor, and the picture postcard area of Whitfield Braw and Hill End before coming full circle back home..
This is a stunning and diverse route which adds so much more to the standard tour. |
