After a couple hrs riding we arrive at the High Force hotel where you room is booked for the night.

High Force Hotel was built at the beginning of the 19th century by the dukes of Cleveland as a hunting lodge. The two end elevations were built some 100 years later to accommodate the royal hunting party. The then Prince of Wales visited high force in August 1866 and his photograph can be seen in the hotel which is located above Keedholme Gorge and the River Tees and opposite the short woodland walk to the mighty High Force Waterfall, long-famous as England’s largest and most dramatic waterfall. At different seasons throughout the year, this mighty waterfall presents a different appearance and character. Whether Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter.
